There's always some debate around its performance, but here is my take: The One is a date scent and for that purpose it is perfect. It does sit close to the skin after around one hour, but that's exactly the type of scent you want for a date - something sexy, that won't choke the other person out and will only be noticed when they get close to you.

I recently started with Dolce & Gabbana The One and I love it. I have the EDP version but the performance is a bit less than I’d like. I see that some layer with some frags. I heard of Molecule 01 and the like. I wanted to ask if anyone has tried that combo and if anyone has other suggestions to get more projection and longevity from it.my brother have the one and i really liked it, but it got poor performance and the cheapest i can find is 80$. today i received fragrance world moonlit night which supposed to be D&G luminous night clone. my god it's so beautiful, very close to the one edp but with added something ( dates ) i actually prefer it over the og. for 27$ its a great .

They are two of the cold weather frags i like the best, so you can’t really go wrong with either. If you’re interested in clones, Alhambra Tobacco Touch is in a similar vein as SBE and is great.I have Dolce & Gabbana The Only One and it is a beautiful perfume, along the same lines as YSL Black Opium, but, with way better sillage and longevity. I get about seven hours, and I would describe The Only One as most definitely a sensual floral gourmand, the notes most prominent on me are vanilla, violet, iris, coffee and rose.
