#1. Just in time for Christmas 2021, I received my new Big Pilot from Lucy. The workmanship on this rep is just great, looks as solid as it feels (once you throw away the original strap). I'm looking to pull the trigger on the IWC Big Pilot 5009-01 ZF but wanted to ask the community if there have been any other contenders for the most accurate Big Pilot rep? I know that the 5009-01 ZF will need a strap change but I'm happy to do that, but I'm curious to look at alternative options. Credit to author from Lingmuwatch. General Impression : Le Petit Prince (5009-08) From the dial, the overall configuration of the two watch basically looks the same. Genuine hands thinner and have a bit of curvature, ZF at this point engraved techniques quite strong, are basically the same axis with the genuine. SUMMARY: This ZF factory IWC pilot's series IW500401 copy table has the same appearance and workmanship as the authentic one, with exquisite polishing details, almost no chromatic aberration between the disk and the authentic one, and a movement that replicates the Cal.51111 movement, which is as powerful as the original.
